Glass bowl from "Radiant" series is definitely a classic of Polish design. It's designed in 60s by Jan Sylwester Drost (born in 1934 in Kłodnica), an outstanding artist, designer of industrial designs, glass technologist. In 1960 Drost started cooperation with Ząbkowice Glass Factory, which lasted forty years. It was there that the famous series of tableware were created, like the mentioned "Radiant", "Diatret" or "Asteroid".
The glass bowl came to us with a serious defect - the lack of one "drop" on the rim. Fortunately, we managed to restore it by making "transplant" from another piece of glass provided by the customer. The droplet was cut off from the supplementary element and then glued to the object. And so the iconic Radiant bowl ceased to be jagged and returned in all its glory to arouse admiration of connoisseurs of Polish design.
