The fern motif was the client's special request. Two stained glass panels were designed to hide a bad view from the window, without taking away the light - hence the concept of a light background made of transparent "baroque glass" (the glass has a delicate, flowing texture that slightly distorts the image). Greens and browns are made of glass usually used in Tiffany technique. They have vivid colors and greater opacity, so they were used only in certain areas. The whole window gave the interior a summery, calm ambiance, regardless of the season or weather.
