Saint Faustina Kowalska (1905 ? 1938) was a Polish nun who has been canonized as a saint by the Roman Catholic Church. She is considered to have been a mystic and visionary and is known and venerated as the Apostle of Divine Mercy. Throughout her life, Faustina reported having visions of Jesus and conversations with him, which she wrote about in her diary. At the stained glass she is pictured holding the Merciful Christ icon, painted according to her vision. Above there is the Holy Trinity shown in the traditional way known as the Mercy Seat: Father uplifting crucified Son and Holy Spirit as the white dove among them.
